Pastillas de Leche

Pastillas de Leche literally means "milk piece" in english, they are milk candies that are very popular here in the Philippines, along with Polvorons. Almost every child here have eaten at least one of these. They are traditionally made with carabao milk [water buffalo] and sugar. But I made them the simpler way.

This recipe I will be sharing to you just need 3 ingredients. It's that simple. You can even finish them in about 10 minutes, and there's no baking or cooking involve!

  1. I'm Aileen R. Dela Cruz third year Accountancy Student from Miriam College. My partner Nica and me have a major subject this semester which is Marketing Management. We have a project where we need to create a unique product that can be sold in the market.

Our chosen product is Pastillas. We want to add something new to it so we decided to add a variety of flavors in it. Our flavors are nutmeg, coffee, cinnamon and peanuts. We also would like to make 'pabalat' as our pastillas wrapper to make it more presentable to the buyers.

We would like to conduct an interview with you to know about your opinions and suggestions regarding our product.

Thank you and hoping for your kind response.
